Honestly, one of the hardest parts of adulting may simply be trying to figure out what to make for dinner every night for the rest of your life.

Daunting, right? You can always eat exclusively at restaurants but that's not good for your wallet or your long-term health. Or you could stick to heat-and-eat canned food, but: blech!

So you'll probably have to cook. And there are tons of healthy recipes out there, including budget-friendly recipes and delicious comfort food.

But if you've got kids, or evening plans, (or both) then you've also got a big o'l time-crunch, meaning you need to cook a meal in as little time as possible—like half an hour or less.

Ok! We can help.

We've spent years thinking about what home cooks need, and trying to come up with tasty, easy, budget-friendly, and most-importantly family-friendly recipes that you can make. And then we put our fastest recipes here so you can find them. All of the recipes on this list either take less than 30 minutes to make, or we've got shortcut ideas for how to make them faster.

Most of the recipes lean on a few key ingredients that are easy to stock, so you don't have to run around chasing down weird ingredients to make them.
